Majestic View Nature Center and Community Park is a place to learn about, understand, and appreciate the area’s natural features and cultural history by interacting directly with nature! The 3,000 square foot Nature Center features hands-on nature and environmental displays, wildlife exhibits, a kid’s area, classrooms and meeting space.

The park encompasses over 80 acres, which includes a lake and wetland areas, a beautiful demonstration garden, interpretive trails, prairie grasses and many wildlife species.

People of all ages enjoy visiting the Majestic View Nature Center during public hours and taking part in activities or wandering through the exhibits. The Center also offers a variety of environmental programs for the general public, school groups, preschools, scouts and other special interest groups. Whether you are discovering local wildlife, on a bird walk or participating in a nature art class, the topics are always fascinating and educational.

Hours:

Winter: October 1 – May 31:  Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Summer: June 1 – September 30: Monday through Thursday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Majestic View Nature Center is also open during programs and special activities.
